strategic culture partner

salary: £59,159 per annum location: Bishop Auckland, Hybrid, Seaham

We’re on the lookout for a Strategic Culture Partner to join the believe housing team on a 12-month fixed term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity if you want to make a real difference. We believe in life without barriers. If you aren’t sure you meet 100% of the criteria but think you would be great in this role, don’t let that stop you; we would love to hear from you. We’re interested in your skills, knowledge and experience, as well as your personal values. We’re committed to supporting everyone here at believe housing and being an inclusive organisation.

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we will consider part-time, job share and alternative working pattern proposals where possible.

We’re a family-friendly, flexible employer, and we encourage everyone to ‘work the believe way’. For us, this means keeping things simple, doing more of what matters, and removing tasks and processes that don’t add value.

Where and when you work is flexible depending on the demands of your role, our customers’ needs and your individual work preference (as agreed with your manager).

Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.

about the role

We’re looking for a highly capable OD professional to develop our organisational capability now and for the future. If you thrive working at pace and have a passion for leading high impact OD and change projects that support organisational transformation, then we want to hear from you.

You’ll work as one of three Strategic People Partners to identify culture and organisational development solutions that support business transformation. You’ll act as a credible and trusted partner to our senior leaders, creating local and organisation-wide initiatives aligned to corporate strategy and business ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity if you want to make a real difference.

About you?

You have broad experience in a range of people and OD activities, ideally with demonstrable experience of supporting an organisation through significant transformation. Able to easily see the bigger picture, you have a proven ability to translate strategy into practical, people focused solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

You enjoy using people insights and data to inform your thinking and proactively look ahead to anticipate possible needs, outcomes and impacts of initiatives. You’re comfortable working with ambiguity and approach evolving priorities with an adaptable mindset and an ability to get things done. You also have a genuine passion for making a real difference to our customers through our people and our business.

Finding the right person is really important to us. If you feel you’re that person but can’t commit to full time or standard office hours, or don’t quite meet 100% of the criteria, we’d still like to hear from you. We’re an inclusive employer and believe in life without barriers.
