first look at new homes proposed for Durham
Stunning images have been unveiled showing how more than 100 new homes proposed for a County Durham community could look.
believe housing is working on proposals for 105 new build affordable homes in Brandon.
This development would be built on land at Silver Courts, Vicarage Flats, Rowan Lea and Red Firs, which will become vacant following the approved demolition of properties in this area.
The proposal consists of 40 affordable rent properties including 12 bungalows, 43 Rent to Buy, and 22 shared ownership properties.
Working with our planning consultants, Fairhurst, we hope to submit a planning application to Durham County Council in the coming months.

A former pub site in the heart of Brandon is being regenerated with 12 new homes.
When Rita was told her home in Brandon, County Durham, was no longer fit for purpose and could be demolished she was shocked.
But we helped her move into a new home and she couldn't be happier.
