construction partners create state-of-the-art workshops for students
A housing association-led partnership has transformed two college classrooms into cutting-edge workshops, designed to inspire students to join the construction sector.
We’re inviting voluntary and community groups to hear how believe housing could support your projects through extensive grants schemes.
Members of our Community Investment Team will take part in a virtual Meet the Funders event, hosted by The Durham Community Action Share and Learn Network.
The network of volunteer-led community organisations, who deliver local services and run community buildings, meets regularly to discuss key topics such as governance, funding and compliance.
At 10.30am, on Thursday, 28 April 2022, believe housing will provide information on the grants we offer and how to apply.
This will include details of our Large Capital Grants programme, which is open for applications until Friday, 13 May 2022, and Small Grants of up to £500 or £1000, which are open for applications all year.
There will also be an opportunity for group representatives to ask questions.
Damian Pearson, Community Investment Performance Team Leader at believe housing, said: “We offer a range of grants to support projects that make a real difference to people’s lives and wellbeing.
“So, if you think we can help your organisation to do just that please join the ‘Meet the Funders’ online event to learn more.”
Attendance is free but booking in advance is required and, as spaces are limited, organisations are asked to book no more than two each.
The event will take place online and joining instructions will be provided prior to the meeting.
